How to create a parameter

Postby chris on 08 Mar 2010, 20:25

Hi all,

how do I create a method parameter in ArgoUML 0.30? I haven't found the "create parameter" symbol in the new property panels.

Regards,
Christian

The solution is on-diagram editing: you can create parameters by double clicking on the operation on the diagram, and then add them as a (comma separated) list inside the brackets. You can omit the types, also don't care about the names, all this can be changes in the property panel. Also, you can delete parameters both via on-diagram editing and in the property panel.

I must admit that it's not consistent with the creation of other things (e.g. attributes), so I'd say there is missing a create button in the parameter section in the operation's property panel. If you feel the same, add a bug report to issuezilla.

This should also work with the prop panels now. At least in the SVN sources.

Yes, Andreas is right. And it also works in 0.30.1.BETA_1.
